  You: name, mobile number and email address.

  Your vehicle: make, model and connector type, and the vehicle details needed to identify it for features such as Auto Charge.

  Your location: only while you use the map in the app, and only if you allow it.

  Your charging: station, date and time, session length, energy used and amount billed.

  Payments: transaction IDs and wallet history. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment gateway, not stored by us.

  Your device and visits: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, app version, and cookies on our website (see our Cookie Policy).

  Your messages: anything you send us through support or our forms.

To run your account, show nearby stations, start and bill your charging sessions, process payments and refunds, give you support, send service messages such as OTPs and receipts, keep stations reliable, improve the service, prevent fraud, and meet legal requirements. We send offers only if you opt in.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where needed:

  with our payment gateway and the technology providers that host our systems and send our messages, who must keep it confidential;

  with station hosts, only the session details needed to run a site, not your contact details;

  to verify identity, prevent fraud, or collect a payment due;

  to protect the rights, property or safety of Ampza, our customers or others;

  when the law, a court or a regulator requires it; and

  if Ampza is sold, merged or restructured, in which case the data moves with the business.

We may use usage data in combined or anonymised form to improve the service.

We keep your personal data while you are a customer, and after that only for as long as it is needed for business, tax or legal purposes, such as billing records we must retain under Indian tax and accounting laws. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it securely.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent, or name someone to act for you. You can update your details in the app, by email or by phone, and you can write to us for the other requests. If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to provide parts of the service.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data, including OTP-based sign-in, encryption and restricted access. Ampza is for people aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect children's data.

We may update this policy as our service or the law changes. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell you about significant changes. Continuing to use Ampza means you accept the update.
